Security Risks
Bandwidth: If a wireless network allows any device to connect - without a security code - your broadband could be used for illegal downloads or worse. Most ISPs (Broadband providers) apply a fair use policy, and some will charge you for additional bandwidth use.

Data Access: Similarly, without controlling which devices are on your network, you may find you private files and pictures are accessible to the outside world.
